First, it's overcrowded, many students share lockers and most classes have full capacity. Next, there's an obvious drug and drinking problem among students as I've seen too many high or drunk children for comfort and obviously it isn't the schools fault directly but little is being done to prevent this or improve the situation making it a rather toxic social environment for anyone. Then, many of the events held by the school aren't well planned which is obvious by the chaotic atmosphere and lack of knowledge given to students and faculty alike which is extremely disorienting when thrown in the midst of them. Finally, all schools have a variety of faculty but the lack of training and bad attitudes shown by some make it impossible to enjoy the class or subject shown in the below average grades. Overall my experience as a student though short is something I haven't enjoyed very much so far, but there is much room for improvement and as such is the direction I hope we wolves as a whole take.
The school is nice lots of nice teacher and students well until they get threats those poor students shouldn't be going through and year book ordering by the school is crappy.
They do not seem to get the concept of High school, as they try to turn it into a college instead. This school used to be awesome, but now... Really needs help and needs level heads to fix the poor decisions made in the past 10 years.
Back in the day, '04. Not so bad. Crowded, but meh, just pushed my way through to get to class. I loved that dear drama department with Mr. Olsen and Mrs. Emans. I also had Mrs. Lee for art class. Had an ok time in year book. I really enjoyed my time there, would I do it over again? Yea, sure. But I'm glad I graduated, lol. Sad thing is, the bomb threats seem to have increased nowadays. When will ya'll learn that pranks like that will get you no where in life and you'll just waste your time in jail...smh. Anyway, I had an ok time at South. My government class teacher voted for me to go to WA DC for some class on politics. I got to go and see the sights, Monuments, Smithsonian Institute museums.nnYea, a fun time. ud83dude0a
It's a good school and you get a good education, but yes it is very crowded
