Maid of the Mist Boat Tour

An excellent way to get up close and personal with the falls! You can purchase tickets quickly and easily at the visitor center right by the parking lot. From there it's short elevator ride and walk down a ramp to get on the boat. They run boats all day and we walked right onto our the next one for our ride.nnThe tour guide talked us through some of the parts of the falls. It's rather loud next to the water, so they don't bother trying to narrate anything during that portion. They get close and you can feel the mist coming at you and the ponchos they provided were super helpful!nnTake tons of picture and videos so you can capture the moment forever. When you leave you can exit through the gift shop which has some fun frames and other items you may want to consider taking home with you for later. It's always fun to put a photo from the space in a frame that came from there! We picked up an ornament for our tree.nnOverall: A++nA wonderful way to experience the falls up close and personal. Take photos, wear the ponchos, buy a souvenir!

Breathless it would just take your breath away it is so beautiful

Long wait but it was worth it. Tried on Saturday and it was sold out by 11 am so they told us to be there on Sunday at 7am if we wanted to get in and we did.

Amazing, well the falls were amazing....However the Maid of the Mist had 1 boat with 175 ppl capacity, the line was ridiculous and they provided no accommodations for those with disabilities. Could improve.

Visited Maid of the Mist for our anniversary. There was a two-hour wait mostly in direct sun, no water offered once in line. You should plan for a three hour wait since our visit was on a Wednesday. Social distancing and railings not monitored or kept clean. It is worth the wait to see the calls the boat ride was magnificent.
