Sail Rumbera

I cannot recommend Captain Scott and his guided sailing adventure enough! My boyfriend and I booked him for a sail on 9/2/2020 and we had the best time. Captain Scott is friendly, easy to talk to, an excellent teacher, and really knowledgeable about sailing and the area. We are really interested in sailing ourselves someday and Captain Scott is so encouraging and friendly. We were able to really participate in the sailing and learn from him. This was without a doubt the highlight of our whole trip!

I highly recommend booking with Sail Rumbera. My family of four booked a last minute two hour trip online and had a wonderful time on the beautiful waters surrounding Bainbridge. The time flew by quickly which made us wish we had booked a longer trip. My two boys greatly enjoyed being able to take the helm and try sailing on their own for the first time ever. The boat was very comfortable for our group and there was a cooler with an assortment of beverages waiting for us. Our captain , Scott, was wonderful from the moment we arrived at the boat throughout the entire time. Very affable and knowledgeable about the area and its unique history. We didn't really know what to expect but left very satisfied and hope to sail again soon. Definitely book a sail with this company you will be happy you did!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with Sail Rumbera! I was visiting from Denver, CO and would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to get on the water and have a personalized experience on a sail boat.nnScott was so friendly and welcoming and had such a wealth of knowledge about the local area. I learned about the local history, while also being able to ask any questions throughout the ride. I even got to learn how to sail which was so fun! I loved that Scott made the experience interactive without any pressure. If you wanted to participate in sailing the boat, you totally could or if you just wanted to sit back and relax with a glass of wine, you could do that as well.nnI will absolutely book Sail Rumbera the next time I am in the area. Weather you are a Seattle native or only in town for the weekend, I think it was such an amazing value and a unique experience that anyone would enjoy!

A sailing day on the sound with captain Scott was fun, educational and beautiful. Captain Scott’s knowledge of the Sound and the land around it is amazing. Additionally, he is a very patient teacher of how the sailboat works and how to sail. My family (kids ages 6, 9 and 12) had an amazing time.nnAlso, make him promise to have a humpback whale breach within 50 yards of your boat ;). Makes for an amazing once in a lifetime experience. In all seriousness, Captain Scott will provide your family with an incredible experience.

I highly recommend that you book a trip with captain Scott. I booked the 2 hour sunset sail as a surprise/proposal for my now fiancé! Captain Scott was extremely accommodating and kind towards making this an evening we will never forget. We learned so much about sailing, the surrounding landscape, and the history of Puget Sound. We are planning to take our next trip with Rumbera to the San Juan Islands sometime in the future!
