Dr Welter proved to be a very incompetent and arrogant doctor which I do not recommend to anybody. I have severe chronic neck pain, diagnosed with osteoarthritis. For my first visit I was given some muscle injections for my neck and was told to keep a journal which I did. if the first round of shots did not prove satisfactory, then another series of shots would be done was mentioned by Dr. Welter. I went for the next follow-up appointment which was in one month. When I returned I showed him my journal which stated on my timeline that I was still having some neck pain, he copped an attitude On my first visit I was told by his assistant that was told that this sometimes does not work the first time around . However Dr Welter took it on upon himself to tell me that I was discharged and there was nothing else he could do for me. He told me I could go back to work and stated this in his medical notes which I reviewed on the patient portal. His reasons were not clear and he had a very bad attitude this day. As far as I'm concerned, if anybody is looking to get help with pain isdues. stay away from this doctor. It seems obvious he didn't pay attention in class when he was going to school. No bedside manners at all!!!!

Dr Welter gave my father-in-law his mobility back. Great bedside manner, kind, and a good memory for his patients. Dr Welter properly diagnosed his condition when others had failed to do so for years. Very caring Dr and so glad we found him. My father-in-law has been his patient for about 5 years not. Very satisfied.

Waited 45 mins past my appointment time and he never apologized. I get that patients can make a doctor be late for another appointment but at least apologize to that patient when you see them. I was referred to him by the first doctor I saw. Dr. Welter told me I absolutely did not have Carpal Tunnel but thought it might be tennis elbow and through on a Velcro strap onto my forearm and said see you in 2 weeks. I was in extreme pain at the time and left his office in tears not knowing where to turn too at that point. Fortunately, I was put in touch with another doctor that confirmed that I indeed did have Carpal Tunnel and a severe case at that. I had Carpal Tunnel surgery last week. Don't waste your breath, time or your money seeing Dr. John Welter if you think you may have Carpal Tunnel. Obviously he doesn't have a clue what Carpal Tunnel is.
