Update: Unfortunately, I was trying to give the Doctor the benefit of the doubt in my original review by giving his office more than one star, but based on his response which is not remorseful at all I cannot even offer him that. As soon as I picked up the phone with his receptionist I said I believe there was a misunderstanding and you mistook me for a female on my voicemail and my name is actually Christopher as pleasantly as possible. I was explicit in this so we could proceed normally. She then proceeded to take my information, and then GO BACK to mention that she thought I was a woman and laughed. The year is 2021 and even if you are not certain of the identity of a patient, please don't mock them and belittle them with a comment like that because it can have much greater repercussions. Meanwhile Doctor, rather than stating your credentials because you're scare of a bad review, try and respond in a more apologetic way and if you really do seek to help patients as you say you do, then in the future just take responsibility for your staff and even if they misspoke and acted out of character, explicitly say that and offer suggestions of how you can help. You may try and discredit my review, but fortunately every review counts whether you like it or not, so in the future maybe try and get the full context of the situation and understand why a bad review may be posted rather than stating credentials to try and save face. Good day to you.nnMy Original Review: Like most doctor's offices I couldn't get past the incompetent and rude front end staff. I spoke to a woman named Terry and asked to set-up an appointment with Dr. Detweiler. She then proceeded to mock me and say I sounded like a woman and laughed. It is a shame because I would have liked to meet Dr. Detweiler and see if he could help me but was completely turned off by the front end staff. I hope she is reprimanded because her clinician just lost a potential new patient due to her poor humor and lack of professionalism. Such a shame.

Dr. Detweiler was so thorough with me during my initial consultation. He truly listens and is an artist in his field of medicine. So glad I have found this gem!!!

I have never had a doctor who sought to get to the root cause of my issues. He did tests no other doctor would think of to verify what was wrong and causing my pains and discomfort. He did prescribe meds for the immediate relief of the symptoms as needed, but focused on finding the root cause. I am totally grateful for the results. When I follow his guidance of diet , supps, and life style, IT WORKS. I travel well out of my way to go to his office. Kudos to his front office help also [Terrfy!]

This Doctor saved my life more than once, and has improved the quality of my life. I would strongly reccomend taking any suggestion he makes. His staff goes out of the way to accommodate your schedule, an budget.I would trust his judgment and follow any recommendations before any other Dr.nIf he doesnt have the answer he will not rest until he gets the answer or tell you there is no answer..I really can't think of a man I respect more or woman that has treated me.nHe is brutally honest and direct,and no agenda other than compassion for his fellow man.

Dr Detweiler was really incredible, he took his time with me and explained thoroughly about what I needed to do. I highly recommend him!!
