Market Street Settlement Group

Do not use this Company if you want to receive your money. I am the seller and my closing was November 24, 2020. My funds should have been wired on the day of the closing. It is now 3 days after closing and I have not received my funds. Today is Thanksgiving and Attorney Jane Barriault is not talking to me about were my funds are. Laura Overson is also not talking about were my funds are. My next step is to talk to the Maine Attorney General to begin an investigation as to were my funds are. I may have to talk to the Maine State Bar about the conduct of Market Street Settlement Group. As a Real Estate Professional, I would never do business with Market Street Settlement Group.

My closing was on the November 25, 2019. The city taxes reflected activity through November 19, 2019. The payment was short close to $350.00. Market Street refused to pay for their mistake. I would not recommend Market Street to anyone.

Marissa was very professional and made the process simple and fast. Very appreciative of her help!

Terrible unorganized closing and I still have yet to receive my commission check for the sale since they took it with them after the closing. Completely unacceptable.

Terrible company that takes no responsibility for their actions.
