I came in today to get a photo ID. Everything went smoothly when I had handed the lady that was helping me my documents. She even took my picture after looking at both forms of identification I was planning to use. After taking the photo and making me sign, the lady says to me “oh you have some work to do” in the most condescending way. I was a little confused bc everything seemed to have been fine and she didn’t specify what she meant by that. She then brings me over to the other side and says she cannot issue me my ID due having a hyphen in my last name and suggests I go to the court house and have them drop the hyphen. Mind you, I’ve gotten my ID before without any issues using these same documents. I just forgot to renew it and had to get a new one issued. I explained that to her and she refused to issue me the ID and after expressing my frustration to her another employee that she had look at the documents was laughing behind her. I left very frustrated after that and had went home to find my old ID. I come back to the DMV about an hour later and give the same documents to a different person that they had assist me. They say nothing about the hyphen, but I still hand over my old ID just in case. Everything went smoothly after that and I was able to get my ID issued. My problem is, I’m not trying to say the lady was racially profiling me, but it really came off that way due to the difference in treatment I was given from both employees. I also did not appreciate being laughed at by the staff when I had expressed to them my situation. Please be more considerate when helping people in the future.

The website says open until 5:30pm. I arrived at 5:12 pm to see a sighn that says doors lock at 5:15 to finish up customers inside. The door was already locked and there was no customers inside. I knocked on the door until someone decided to come over and open it and she told me that no one can help me. I saw tellers leaving at 5:26 before the store was even supposed to be closed. Really upsetting when you make a special trip for something important.

In my experience, the staff are friendlier and seem more helpful here than the folks at the DMV. Average wait time I've experienced is 15-30min. It's less out my way though, so I will definitely continue to go here in the future.

I will always go here whenever I need to renew my license or do anything DMV related. The staff is always very helpful.nnPre-COVID, I never had to wait very long to do what I had to do. Whether it was transferring a title, getting a passport, or renewing my license, I'm always assisted quickly compared to other DMVs I've been to.nnI visited during COVID and they still were doing a phenomenal job. Although the wait in line outside was long, once I was inside I was done within 10 minutes. Throughout the wait an employee came outside and made sure we had all the necessary paperwork and that we were ready once we were inside. Once inside she directed everyone where to go and was very informative when people had questions.

The young woman greeting/sorting people at the entrance was extremely rude. I had questions about the process and was frustrated and she was very unprofessional. “I did not make the rules “ “Because that’s just the way it is.” Thanks for all your help, rude girl.
