This company has a great process. We designed everything in the first meeting, was able to get on the schedule while their workload I’m sure was very high. Everyone was respectful and courteous throughout. I’ve had experiences in the past where communication and timeline were lacking but Matrix handled the project beautifully. Really was systematic. The teams showed up like clockwork, site was clean and everyone top to bottom was a pro. Very satisfied with our selection to go with Matrix and would recommend to anyone in the market. Thank you to Steve T, Joe D and all the crew members on the scene and behind it. We’re so happy to have our basement back after the flood!

Matrix was a great company to work with. Our foreman Steve was very quick to respond and would always keep up in the loop as to what was going on and who was coming when. Matrix remodeled our basement and we are very pleased with the outcome. We felt comfortable with everyone who came into our house and they were always professional. Will definitely recommended Matrix to friends and family. I want to give another shout-out to Steve for being so wonderful throughout the entire process, thank you!!

Our experience with Matrix was great! Our basement turned out amazing! We worked Chris(Sales), Joe (Field Mgr.} and Jamie(field Foreman) all three were great. Jamie our site foreman was very easy to work with and kept us updated with the schedule through their BuilderTrend App. He stayed true to the schedule that was created with some minor adjustments, it was easy to communicate with him through the app when there were changes. All the subs were great! they all were polite and respectful of our home. If someone is thinking about finishing their basement and it is within their budget( a bit pricey) I would strongly recommend hiring Matrix.nnKevin & Kathy

My wife and I are in the market to get our basement finished, and like many of us, we were concerned with simply getting contractors to respond to a request for quote. However, let me say, Matrix Basement Systems exceeded all of our expectations. Right from the start, Matrix not only answered the phone on my first attempt, they were excited to quickly get an in-home consultation scheduled. Things only got better from there. Matrix sent out one of their senior consultants, Ryan Wright, and let me say, this guy is an absolute rock star. Not only can you tell Ryan is passionate about what he does, you quickly feel like he is a long time friend helping you design your basement dreams. He never made us feel pressured into buying anything. The 90 minute consultation quickly turned to three hours as my wife and I inundated Ryan with exhaustive questions on the process and went over multiple different finishes and phased approaches that worked within our budget. Ryan was patient and eager to help every step of the way. In a day and age when it is hard to find contractors willing to simply return a call, Matrix has already gone above and beyond and the job hasn't even started yet. A big thanks to Ryan and the Matrix team for making the prospect of finishing our basement an exciting new chapter in our home ownership journey!

Overall experience with Matrix was good, except for the final detail of hanging the television. They constructed our accent wall incorporating the TV mount, but hung it at an incorrect position despite having me tell them the level at which I wanted it, and they had the TV and mount on site at time of construction. The situation is not yet resolved and I'm being told that is actual the position which the TV should sit and if I want it changed, then I'll have to purchase a different TV; otherwise, they'll have to demolish and rebuild the wall. A small detail that makes a large difference considering it is the focal point of our basement.nnOtherwise, I pretty much showed them pictures of the basement design we wanted, then Steve and his crew made it happen. All the workers were efficient and on time and the quality of work was good. They were very respectful of our house and family.
