Taste of the Caribbean

Taste of the Caribbean is wonderful. Pictured below are the Jerk Chicken and Jerk Shrimp entrees with a Beef and Chicken Patty and my personal favorite side, Festival.nnOther awesome items include the Stew and Curry entrees, the jerk wings, and the made to order Fish items (which are out of this world).nnLocated right by Seattle University, these flavors can’t be beat.nnThe best part? It also doubles with Red Lounge which is an awesome event space for concerts and live music (so keep in mind when indoor seating and indoor events make a return).nnCarlene, the owner, is one of the coolest, nicest, most awesome people out there.nnSo, in case you haven’t figured it out yet, you wont regret paying Taste of the Caribbean a visit!

Good jerk chicken. Not as spicy as it should be but after all it's Seattle. Drinks are good and hella strong.

The patty’s are so delicious I would eat them every day if I can and roger is the best he goes above and beyond to make u happy he keeps a smile on his face

I know there are many reviews on here especially from New Yorkers saying that the food is authentic and comparable. As a New Yorker from the Bronx, where Jamaicans are known to smoke their meat outside daily, I have to strongly disagree with the mass. It wasn't bad, but it's not authentic. If you're okay with mediocre, then help yourself. Another issue is that we are used to flavor, not salt. The peas and rice were very salty and lacking flavor. While I desire to support black businesses, we have to do better with representation.

This is the best food you'll ever eat! I don't take the time to review restaurants. If you don't give this restaurant a chance, you will live an incomplete life. Regret will follow you through your life. I can't wait for Rona to be over so I can go in and enjoy a drink and heavenly food weekly! Try every dish eventually! I'm a Punjabi woman and I cook bomb flavorful food on the daily. I would trust this restaurant with my family. Point blank!
