I began my journey with DCT in May of 2020. My experience has been nothing short of amazing!! My instructor was great, and all of the other instructors, as well as the owner are VERY welcoming and supportive. I completed my Private Pilot Certificate on January 25, 2021, and I don’t think I could have done it anywhere else.nnThey make sure you are well prepared to take your checkride so you can be successful. I am starting my instrument rating right away, and I am excited to continue my journey at this amazing flight school. All the 5 star reviews are from real students, and all of them are true! I highly recommend training here.

Dreams really can come true!nI've been flying with DCT since June of 2017 when I decided to follow my own dream and learn to fly. The DCT team is an outstanding family of top-notch flight instructors, pilots, and staff. They are warm, welcoming, friendly and completely dedicated to safety. All the equipment is meticulously maintained with current equipped and modern avionics. If you want the best flight school for your training or advanced certification, then DCT is the place for you!!

One year ago, I started my private pilot training with DCT and this weekend my dream came true with me flying my wife for a weekend flyaway to Harbor Springs, Michigan!nnThe entire DCT staff are very professional, friendly, and truly invested in providing a fun and high quality training experience. The Piper aircraft are extremely well maintained, modern, and safe. The added benefit of flying out of tower controlled Pontiac Airport make DCT a top notch flight school! I am now jumping right into instrument training. Highly recommend DCT!

I have been a student at DCT Aviation for the entirety of my flight training through the Liberty University flight affiliate program, and the training there is truly unmatched. The instructors are all friendly and knowledgeable, there is a wide range of aircraft that make maintenance issues easy to work around, and the facility is state of the art. It is also located at Oakland County International Airport, which is the second busiest airport in the state of Michigan. Being so, students who train at DCT are well equipped and trained to operate their aircraft under a quick paced environment with many other airplanes in the vicinity; setting them up nicely for careers in aviation if they choose to do so. I am so happy I decided on DCT for my flight training, and will always recommend it to anyone looking to fly in the Metro-Detroit area!

Great place to learn to fly. Instructors are great and easy to get along with. Very helpful at setting up a plan and helping me achieve my goals
