Olivers Pizza & Chester's chicken

This is a small mom & pop shop party ud83eudd73ud83cudf89 store with a very small restaurant called CHESTER'S CHICKEN located inside. This is the best chicken around and please try the biscuits and sides. You have wait awhile cause they're only one person operation and the chicken has to marinate. Also you must get there or call your order in before 5 pm as they clean and are closed by 7pm. They take the last order by 5:30pm. This is a great place to get your drinks and chicken, they even have gizzards and pizza etc... But call or checkout the menu online or get a paper menu when you go; and no they don't offer delivery, THEY MAY DO UBER EATS OR DOOR DASH but I doubt it as they run a one person operation and the store owner is stubbornly refused to change his method of operation to satisfy the demand for this great chicken. As a result when chicken batches are ready one person may place a order for 10 wing, etc... And the person behind them want the same place s more. The s situation creates a lot of frustrated potential customers. So basically it's FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE and if you come later in the day you may be out of luck AS THEY ONLY COOK A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF CHICKEN A DAY OR YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR IT ANY OTHER TIME. THIS DUE TO THE PROCESS WHICH THEY PREPARE THE DELICIOUS CHICKEN. OVERALL THIS IS GREAT CHICKEN. So people if you love that good ole chicken like I do give a shout out to the owners to prepare more chicken and biscuits give that beautiful lady who cooks some GOOD HELP so we all can continue to enjoy that delightful chicken and down home biscuits. This store is your one stop spot, they have lottery and a number of scratch- offs too. Also ask the owners to stay open a little longer for us working people 7-8pm is a little early to close, as they're missing a lot of customers who now have go out their way to other stores they would rather not go to, we love the owners and the convenience. They are located at 43544 N. Gratiot coming from the South it's just two blocks past Joy Road on the right side of N. Gratiot, from the North it's 1/2 mile from M59 (Hall Road) on your left. To show you how great this lovingly prepared chicken is, I travel from the West side of Detroit to get this chicken. My hat off to the beautiful lady that prepare the food. She is very professional and nice, so show your appreciation LEAVE A TIP PLEASE.

I have came all the way from st. Clair to get chesters chicken. I think it is the best ever. I think the woman behind the counter is very nice and prompt. The tall guy with graying hair and glasses behind other counter is a bit talk at you kind of person not talk to you. Needs to change his attitude a bit. But still I'm glad he sells chesters chicken havent tried the pizza yet but looking forward to it. As long as Chester chicken is there i will go to thst store.

Always good and the employees are great

Thought about trying something new and remembered this place from years past. Good service and made a new foreign ancestry friend. Liked the toppings and prices and so I would recommend them to you all. Will return for different menu items but the pizza/Chesters chicken was good also. Thumbs up!!
