Really tasty sandwich. Lots of meat, friendly service and good value. They don't have these where I live and went out of my way for this when I was in the area. Totally worth it.
Service and quality has gone downhill. The last few times they couldn't get my order right, wrong toppings and no extra chicken although I was billed for it... Hopefully they improve to what they used to be, I've started not going as often.
Good food
Perfect place for a nice juicy sub! I crave this a lot which probably isn't too healthy. But I love their steak and onion sub with waffle fries!
Big John Steak'n Onion is a local Michigan chain with a real following. At their core, they're a cheese-steak place...but they do it really, really well. Everything is made to order, and the seasonings are on point, and it comes together into a cheese-steak (Steak'n Onion) that's as good or better than anything I've had in Philadelphia, back in the days when I worked there. I'm putting this review on all of the locations I've personally eaten at...they're consistent.
