Great experience at Vivio's. Tables were spaced apart for these times of covid-19. Our waitress and other staff were all polite and friendly. The drinks were good and the food delicious with a fresh salad. We had lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. The peppermint ice-cream is fantastic.
1st time ever there and the food was well my boyfriend loved his. I no Italian food so what I ordered was not traditional. I would have to try more things on the menu to make a realistic rating.
Old style Italian restaurant. Not the pretentious foo-foo Italian or the mediocre Olive Garden Italian. No this place is the Red Sauce, baked pasta, topped with bubbling melty cheese. Old school Breadsticks, Housemade Herb Vinaigrette. Pizza's are great plenty of toppings, cheese and not to much sauce. Cool, lodge feel for northern Michigan. Those are the items we've eaten there. The hostess (maybe an owner, maybe just really good at the job) was friendly. The waitress was on her game had worked there for awhile and definitely knew her stuff.
My dad's favorite restaurant up north since... Forever. Great service, wonderful atmosphere. Lots of taxidermied animals, FYI. Their pasta is always fantastic!
Please know that negative reviews talking about front of house being “snotty and rude” are completely false!! These people are upset because they were asked to wear a mask when entering the building. Apparently they feel above our posted rules. If people want to complain and say we are rude because we are trying to keep people safe, then so be it!
