We've been to this shop a few times - it looked amazing during the Pirate Festival. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, and the photographs are simply amazing. Well worth the visit.

Eastern Maine Images is a gallery with some other gift items. Mostly, you will find photography of Maine on canvas. There are some other gift items. This gallery is interesting in that it appears to be created from an old bank building. This is one of several galleries in the downtown area.

I've known Don Dunbar for many years and am honored to call him a friend. He is also the most gifted nature photographer I've ever met. His patience and the knowledge he has gained during his stellar career enable him to be in the right place at the right time to capture some absolutely amazing images. Check out his pictures online, and then come to Eastport and visit his gallery downtown!

Nobody captures the beauty of downeast Maine like Don Dunbar!! He had an amazing and artful eye and a keen understanding of the natural world. All of his awards and accolades are well deserved! He's also an extremely kind and humble human being and it's easy to want to support his gallery. But aside from his photos, he also has cool local crafts such as jewelry, dreamcatchers, and local music cds. If you're in Eastport, stopping by his shop is a must!!!!
