Faster than expected. Limited entry due to covid precautions keeps times reduced. Helpful, they were able to save me from paying $90 for my license down to $5 by noticing I could have a renewal instead of a new license for an out of state transfer since I had previously had a Maine license within the last 6 years.

People were very pleasant and helpful.nnIf we are still social distancing, be sure to bring a coat and comfortable shoes - the building can accommodate approximately 15 people socially distanced inside, so you may have to wait in line outside the building. Wait times are a bit longer than normal due to cleaning, but nothing unreasonable given the circumstances.

The examiner was very nice. I took the CDL B permit test my biggest issue was that there were several questions on the test that were CDL A questions that didn't pertain to the test I was taking needless to say I failed the test as I had to guess on several questions....

We had to wait outside for the covid screening questions for a brief time, but then we were let right on. Hand sanitizer, distanced chairs, and plastic dividers at the desks in place. They did a great job with safety. The wait was the wait that occurs at the dmv :)

Had appointment for written test at 2pm. Showed up 10 mnts earlier, the nice lady asked standard covid questions related, asked me to sanitize my hands. Sat for a minute and then asked to go to exam room. The officer checked the paper and ID, asked me to stand in front of the yellow tape for eye test. A bit tight place since literally there’s a person sitting in front of me doing test as well. But the test finished quickly. He just asked me to read one linennThe written test was on touched screen. Super easy. 30 questions and need to get 24 right. Once I passed 24, it’s done, no need to continue till the end of the questions. Got a piece of paper ( learner permit ) and the officer told me to send the top part of the paper by mailing it to Augusta for driving test appointment ( roughly 1 month he said )nnThat’s it...in general nice and pleasant experience
