Halfway to St Patrick's Day race. Should have been called CHAOS!!!!nTotal cluster road race for anyone in a car today, Sunday, August 27, 2017. Route 1, Route 5, Main Street, Portland Ave, Ross Road...about 4 miles of driving, took us 80 minutes! This was with police doing their traffic direction. Horrible. I've run road races, and it didn't take me 80 minutes to RUN it! Incompetence abounded.n1.ALL road races should cross main road VERY minimallyn2. Right hand turns should make up most of the race.n3. Keeping traffic One-Way for race would keep some traffic moving, the next parallel road could be other direction one-way.nStupid and crazy all at the same time.
