Fabulous fabric store! And Mrs. G who runs the place is an extraordinary woman w/a wealth of knowledge regarding fabric and upholstery & Maine. One of a kind shop run by a one of a kind woman.
This store has the worse business ethics I have ever seen. I have been to the store 4x during normal business hours and EACH time it is closed with a little tiny sign on the door saying illness or on vacation, see you on such an such a date. It's too bad because I needed a ton of fabric and was willing to spend a lot of money of they had what I needed. I am not sure how this place even makes money only being open a few days a week and not being there for most of them. I will never go back to the shop. I am tired of waiting my gas and time only to show up and see that the shop is closed. Very very irritating and disappointing. Just a tip from a shop owner.. If you can't be at your own business and have better hours, hire someone. Your business will fall apart. I am the second person to write a review with the same complaint!
First time here and was pleasantly surprised with HUGE selection! Need some foam for a project and found exactly what I needed. The owner is VERY knowledgeable and very helpful!
Amazing store with hundreds of designer fabrics. New ones coming in all the time.First time shoppers, don't be overwhelmed by the selection, it's so wonderful to have so many to choose from. Owner is extremely knowledgeable also very friendly and willing to help. Always a delightful experience. We purchased two fabulous upholstery fabrics, one for dinning room chairs and the other, a Strohoeim Romann for a chair in our family room. Both were are at amazing prices. Don't miss this place for all your fabric and foam needs! The pricing on the foam cushioning is extremely reasonable and high quality!
Fantastic selection, helpful & knowledgeable owner! The location/entrance is a bit tricky, but that's Google's fault, not the shop's (and certainly NOT a reason to give one star...)
