I would not recommend this counselor. Her response to concerning, inappropriate behaviors of teenagers is “teenagers will be teenagers”. I would expect a more educated, appropriate, concerning response. Her counseling strategy is to simply ask the patient what they would like to talk about and then let the patient lead the session. If you’re looking for a counselor to help deal with issues and address problems, I would recommend choosing a different counselor.
