My daughter Ginney has been at Summerfield for 5 years,nShe has always received the very best care by the entire staff.nThe staff is the most loving and caring that I have ever observed anywhere.nWhen any resident has a problem the entire staff responds immediately in unison to resolve it.nThe staff is very friendly and always go out of their way to meetnthe needs of the residents and their families.nHighly recommend for anyone with Huntington Disease.

My wife has been a resident at Summerfield for a year now and has received excellent care. The staff here are amazing, they are truly dedicated to making sure that the residents are treated with dignity, respect, compassion and love.

First contacted staff about getting our son accepted. They went above and beyond anything I've come across helping and speaking to our family. Took care of every aspect. Thank you Summerfield staff!!nNext our visit. We seen a side to our son that made us realize we made the right choice. He was happy very well adjusted. Not over medicated ! He engaged in conversation, he smiled allot. He interacted with others.nThirdly treatment,while there visiting at various times over three days we seen how our son was treated. He was treated with respect and dignity. He was showed love and acceptance for who he was. While visiting i walked around seen how others were treated at no time did I see anyone mistreated.nThe staff at Summerfield have our utmost respect. They are some of the most caring and dedicated people we have had the pleasure of coming across. They keep us informed. Give us updates both the good and bad.nHuntington disease is a heart breaker for all but I thank our Ky chapter of hd Cathy Saliga for putting us in touch with the most sensible,loving and well trained people. Our daughter now resides there also. She has come along way .nThank you Summerfield staff for giving us peace knowing or loved one's are in the best hands possible.

My little sister was here less then two years. She had many items stolen. We looked further and there are inventions into mistreatment. There's going to be another one for her. She fell a lot, chipped tooth, a multitude of bruising by the time she went into hospice. It is understaffed with too many beds. Eventually they stopped giving my mom any information about her. If you have a loved one and considering this place I feel like a nursing home in your area would be better then this place. If you admit a loved one better plan to be there daily. This might be ok for early Huntington's, but, late stage no way. They do not have the capability or the manpower.
