I couldn’t be more pleased and honored to live in a community with these upstanding firefighters.nNot only did they come out immediately to help save a kitten in a street drain when I called with a predicted snow storm weeks back, but they also today gladly offered a photo shoot for my Dog Rex who was diagnosed with Multicentric large scale lymphoma. A fast and aggressive cancer.nWe are Checking off to do’s on his bucket list.nIt was fun and they all participated.nThank you Byron Fire District and Derrick Willey.nWe are so appreciative ❤ufe0f
They are very active in the community. They have come by to speak to my kids at the forest preserve preschool and Mary Morgan. They go around the neighborhood at Christmas driving santa to give cookies and hot chocolate to the kids. They have an open house every year that provides food as well.
Best fire department in ogle county.
