Useless products that either don't work at all, or may as well not work at all because they're wildly inaccurate. Bought one scale won't even come without 10 grams of a measurement, second scale turns on and won't work right out of the box.

I recently purchased and installed an indoor/outdoor digital thermometer. It worked just fine for two weeks. I checked the batteries in both sending and receiving unit--they were all good. After being inside for about three hours the sending unit started working. I hung it back outside and it worked for a week and then quit. Same procedure: brought it inside for a while and voila, it works again. Can this be fixed?
