One of those occasions that you stop by a business because you recognize the name. Stopped into Bar Louie in Oak Brook Terrace. Didn't like parking and walking through hotel to get to restaurant. Initially debated leaving. Discovered staff was very friendly and service was quick. Prices were reasonable and happy hour appetizers were available. Had a good time.
They took a long to bring out drinks and our order came out in section considering that we drop close to 500 I expect better service and attention too
Great food and our waiter/bartender was fantastic, can't remember his name. He was the only one working and he was very attentive and apologetic for no reason.
The bartenders were amazing why I rate 3 stars is because I had to order the boneless wings twice got double charged and they all came out soggy instead of crunchy and I asked for extra crunchy 2nd time and still didn't happen so the cooks lack patience in the kitchen and just want to get orders out I work in the industry and would not recommend anything that requires time to make in this kitchen only simple things such as chips and sauces by themselves nothing else
I loved this place from 17 years ago. Been going there as a regular.
