I witnessed a citizen being treated rudely and refused service when politely making a simple records request at the zoning office. The staff obstructed even the simplest of request for readily available public records and seems to regard citizens contemptuously. They should all be fired.

City Hall employee's ego was greater than their knowledge of the FOIA laws. It's disappointing to see people that are inept at their jobs yet unwilling to get their supervisor to clarify.

I have rarely witnessed a citizen being denied public records that were readily available. Refusing service and refusing to identify themselves is about as unprofessional as it gets, add rudeness in there and this is a true slap in the face to we, Who pay their salaries. This is the face of why citizens are fed up with our government. If a private company treated it's customers this poorly, they'd be out of business.
