All Family Dental and Braces

I was seen today for cleaning, x-rays and a referral for wisdom teeth extraction. The wait wasn't long, and the guidelines for the pandemic are in perfect place. The Dr. was absolutely lovely and made sure I knew everything that was needed. Absolutely would love to keep as my dentist, sadly my insurance is not accepted.

Dentist is great. The customer support staff however is not so great. Getting any assistance over the phone has been such a hassle. I've been trying to get a copy of a record emailed to me for over a week. Rather then try and facilitate my request the staff tried pushing another appointment for me. I told them I'd simply like a copy of the last record and after a long while the staff member finally concedes from pushing another appointment and promises they will respond with the needed information within 24 to 48 hours to send an email. 72 hours later I followed up to ask what was going on and why it's taking so long to send an email. The staff member places me on a brief hold and when he returns advises he cannot get anyone on the phone from the office but has sent them an urgent message and they will respond by close of business that day. NO RESPONSE THAT DAY.nnI followed up again two days later, again placed on hold, again told they cannot get a hold of anyone in the office, but they have sent them a message to contact me or I may go in and pick up the document directly from the office.nnFinally, after seven days and six phone calls someone from the office called me back and ten minutes later sent me a document. They didn't bother to spell the patients name correctly on the document.nnAgain the dentist was great, but this ordeal was more than enough for me to take my family's dental needs elsewhere.

Outstanding service!! My appointment was met on time. Dentist and all assistants made sure my procedures were completed and any questions I had were answered. All my dental issues were thoroughly explained. The dentist took the time to go through all my options to correct my issues. Over all great service.

The staff is very professional ud83dudc4f. The location is very clean. The communication was amazing, and they made us feel so comfortable upon arrival. The young ladies were so patient with both of our kids, but especially with our son who is on the autism spectrum. They made his experience not so stressful. They talked him through every step of the way allowing him to feel at ease. The dentist was so friendly and very patient t and understanding as well. The team is extremely caring and for that I recommend them 100%. Thank you guys for an amazing dental visit.

All Family Dental in Melrose ParknnFirst issue: All my dental benefits for the year were used with THREE different sets of x-rays in one visit. I have never had any other dental office do that. I told them I didn't have wisdom teeth, never have on any x-ray in 40 years. They x-rayed for them anyway, and when they didn't find them like I said, insisted that they must have been extracted and I just forgot. I don't know anyone in the history of the world who has forgotten the experience of having a wisdom tooth extracted, let alone having all four pulled.nnSecond issue: I was told by the All Family dentist that I needed extensive work. I took their x-rays to a different dentist; the new dentist looked at All Family's x-rays and said that she did not see any basis for their claims for needing extensive work.nnWas it a money ploy? It certainly feels that way. I would not recommend this office. I do not recommend anyone who ignores the patient and treats them like they're feeble minded.
