When I walked in I was greeted with the soothing scent of diffused essential oils (lavender perhaps?). From there, the experience only became more invigorating. A plethora of skateboards was assembled on the wall like a modern art mosaic one would expect to find at MOMA. Boards of all sizes made of only the finest Maple trees teased and tantalized my senses. A true feast for the eyes. When it came time to make my purchase decision I was distraught with conflicted emotions. I wanted them all...but I mustn’t. How could I choose?!?! Thankfully the staff was there to hold my metaphorical hand and guide me through the decision. Like sherpas with questionable taste in pop punk music, they led me down the path that ultimately resulted in the procurement of a fine piece perfect for my lifestyle. Like an ill-fated but passionate romance, the experience will live on in my memories, comforting me in my darkest days.
