Walmart Vision & Glasses

you guys need to start taking the medical card again please. bard optical is bogus. i went to the bard on n dirksen with my medical card. was told at bard they didn't have free glasses. cheapest pair was $30.00 dollar i paid. then my friend needed glasses he goes to the bard on walbash and gets a free pair of glasses. no matter what walmart i went too walmart never once tried any sneaky stuff like that.

No doctor in for like 2 years now bunk...... call eyemart

I took my 8yo for an eye exam. The dr was very condescending and claimed my daughter was lying because “one of her friends must have just got glasses.” When I explained it was bc she was reading books extremely close to her face, he said I didn’t understand that kids arms are shorter and that it may just “appear that way.” Regardless he found a slight astigmatism and asked if I really wanted the glasses...nnFast forward to FOUR MONTHS LATER when her glasses are ready. I come in to pick them up, and the lady “Sarah” asked me if the glasses were self pay or insurance. I respond insurance, and she asks which one. I reply Medicaid. (I work two jobs to be this poor! Single mother) Sarah then informs me that the dr has to be there to hand them out. I ask when the dr should be there and she gives me a four hour period (divided in the day) in which he was there. I tell her I work 6 days a week, and the only other day I can come in is Sunday, due to my tight work schedule. The dr isn’t there on Sunday. She tells me I have an interest of conflict. She tells me that I can call and see if I can set an exception up. I ask her if she can leave a message for them to call me. She tells me no! Then tells me I can leave them a message, but they won’t call me back.nnSo basically, after waiting all this time, I can’t pick up my daughters glasses.nnI am very disappointed and won’t be back!
