I have always have a great experience here. Dr. Egly is considerate and friendly and even works with me with the pricing because I do not have insurance and toe surgeries can add up! Highly recommend.

I have been a patient at Southeast Podiatry under Dr. Wimmer. Her care for me is beyond decrisption. She has something not taught in medical school, called (bed side matters). Her kind and gentle approach is note worthy. The support staff are some of the sweetest ladies God ever blessed us with. We in the Brewton area are very fortunate to have these great individuals. Dr. Harwood is a WONDERFUL podiatrist. I was at another podiatrist and he could never figure out what was wrong with my feet. Decided to get another opinion and Dr. Harwood figured out what was wrong and did surgery to correct it. He is currently treating my broken metatarsal and is treating me as if I was one of his family members. 10/10 would recommend!

I am a manager for a big box retailer and walk concrete floors an estimated 12 miles per day, 5 days a week for the last 21 years. There were days my feet made me so miserable it affected my sleep and kept me from activities I love due to the pain. My general practitioner would prescribe anti inflammatories to manage the pain. This was helpful, but only dulled the pain slightly. I went to see Dr. Harwood as he was recommended to me from a friend who had similar issues. Dr. Harwood took some quick X-rays in the office and determined I had some arch issues and severe, late stage arthritis in both of my big toe joints. He recommended an orthotic specifically designed to help with the issue. He nailed it. I was almost emotional after just the first day of wearing them. It was the first time in years I didn’t limp into my house after work. I have had them about a month now and have virtually now pain. I can even curl my toes again. I am simply amazed. Dr. Harwood and is staff are super personable and knowledgeable. His conservative approach and knowledge have changed my life. I have never written a comment or rated anything in my life, but, I don’t know a better way to say thank you but to leave a good word for those who are in need of his services. I highly recommend Dr. Harwood and his staff to anyone in need of foot care. Thank you Dr. Harwood.
