Dr. Vacik is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. His examinations are very thorough and he provides excellent medical care. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Vacik, and his nurse practitioner Pam, are very thorough and conscientious in their treatment of my wife and me. I especially like how he helped me lower my cholesterol from 167 to 112. Medical Associates of the Shoals is a very professional operation.

Avoid him. Unethical, playing money games. Prescribes controlled substance for patients at Glenwood Rehab without ever seeing them, then refuses to see them upon discharge. This is in direct violation of Alabama law, hope he gets caught and loses his license, but unlikely, Alabama will give a license to just about anybody!
