Bought a stuffed animal gift and saw they had vinyl records so I picked up a couple at a fair price. Got home and wished I didn't buy the vinyl records. One was warped, looks like my tone arm is riding a tsunami during playback... luckily sound was not affected. The other disc had scuff marks on both sides and the record had begun to burst the top of the outer cardboard sleeve. I may return them, but sound is not affected and it's a 30 minute drive. I won't be buying another vinyl record from them however. They have them set up in crates on fold out tables, people rife through them pretty rough, no respect for the medium.nnOn top of that I was offered 10% off for joining a free trial of their membership club. I joined as it was going to save me about 9 bucks, then I was offered a magazine subscription... which I declined. Now, instead of being to just cancel the membership online (which their site is nicely developed) I have to call a number and do it over the phone. Annoying.

On a recent shopping trip at Lakeline Mall I looked through an FYE store. I was really surprised to find one, as I hadn't browsed FYE since I was a teen. Nonetheless it was a nostalgic trip that didn't disappoint. I was able to find several unique gifts along with several other items. The store was organized, clean, and the employees were friendly. I'm sure I'll stop by again on my next visit to Lakeline Mall.

Maybe because I'm a millennial but I love this place - takes me back to the good old Hastings days. Fun collectibles, used CDs and DVDs, records, and silly gifts.
