Booking was easy and fast. Property was just as pictured. It was perfect for our four day stay. Highly recommended and will definitely book again!!

We booked a house with Sand Key Realty a month or so out. The day before we were scheduled to arrive they canceled on us. It was March 2021 (spring break). We were not able to find another location, they did not offer any sort of a solution. We were not able to enjoy a family vacation (with a 3 and 6 year old) in Port Aransas.nnI’d tell anyone that asked, don’t book with Sand Key Realty.

Stayed at Borracho beach in Port Aransas and it lacked a lot. Asked to leave a review on the property but they never responded, likely why they only show 5 stars bc they weed out poor experiences by not letting you review the place. Had an issue where we arrived and the pool was out of order, however that was the draw for the visit, we went in late Feb and this place advertised a heated pool, granted 9 days prior was the big freeze and we knew some places were recovering. I was more annoyed that rather than tell us in advance so we could reschedule we had to tell them when we checked in and were offered a small credit. Not ideal but we were moving on to have a fun weekend. The real annoyance was the next morning when we went to make coffee (we brought our own coffee) and the place says it has a coffee maker, guess what they don't include filters! So we had to drive to the store to get filters before we could make coffee, NEVER experienced that before in any vacation rental and didn't make for a positive experience first thing in the morning. The towels felt like cheap motel towels, so thin and crispy. In the kitchen there was no sponge to wipe counters or dishes so we had to use our ONE dish towel on that. There were also empty salt and pepper shakers so I guess we should have packed those too?! We went to wash some laundry before we went home and guess what, they don't offer any soap. I have stayed at countless vacation rentals and they always offer one of two loads for soap (dishwasher and washing machine) and coffee filters to match whatever coffee maker size they have, salt/pepper shakers, dish towels. If packing every supply is part what you expect you will love this place, if you are expecting a vacation rental with some stocked amenities I would keep looking.

Unprofessional. SO very unprofessional. We tried to cancel over a week out due to the horrible winter weather Texas has had. We are dealing with clean up from busted pipes and were planning on leaving next week. They are having a fish problem because of frigid winter weather. We called 9 days in advance and explained everything. Called the city of Port Aransas and they said they recommend waiting 2 weeks due to everything going on. Air bnb contacted them as well trying to get some help on our end and were GREAT. The manager, Victoria, Is a joke. My husband and I were appalled at the way she acted and talked to us. Long story short, they REFUSED to give us a refund or reschedule us. Several people from our company have used them and they wont anymore. Please, beware before booking with them. They don't care about customers. Just money! Sad!

We had a blast at this VBRO! It was very well updated, plenty of space for 2 couples and very clean! The complex was really quiet and just a few blocks from the beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Plus the pool right outside was nice to jump in after a day of riding the waves! Loved this place!
