A fantastic dining experience in a unique setting. Very good food and coffee. Highly recommend eating here for breakfast. After you dine you can tour the farm and the see the pottery barn, wood shop, greenhouse, cheese shop, coffee shop, general store and quilting shop. I recommend the peaceful stroll down the crushed granite path as opposed to driving and parking.
Enjoyed the friendly staff. The food was excellent. The chicken tenders were exceptionally tender...no knife required. The gravy was tasty. The chicken and waffles and grits were very good. All in all we had a great evening at this establishment.
Giving this 5 star rating because there isn't a place for 6! Best omelet I have ever had! Farm fresh ingredients for everything. We drove 1.5 hours for this, and I will definitely be back!
TABITHA was extremely the friendliest, professional team player I have come across! She and the receptionist have made us feel very welcomed (brand new to the town) and the recommendations hit it right in the nail! We moved to Waco in July and were so happy to find the Heritage Cafe. We eat there at least once a week. The food is fresh and homemade. Delicious. Try the peach cobbler. The coffee burger is delicious. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. They do not serve alcohol or pork products but the turkey bacon is a great substitute.
