Greenwood Animal Hospital

Although I did not have a chance to experience Greenwood Animal Hospital's service, but I decided to write a very positive review for this business. The reason is because my 4 years old tabby cat, Brownie, is in need a ultrasound a biopsy from a radiologist due to a possibility of having kidney cancer, and he was very ill since Friday 11/27. I brought him to the ER and did the tests, found out his right kidney is enlarged and abnormal, the doctor informed us that we need to bring him to a radiologist asap. Since it was Thanksgiving weekend, plus pandemic, it was extremely difficult to find a radiologist available. Finally, this morning I was able to make an appointment for Brownie on Thursday at a hospital. However, I was very worried about his situation and I don't want to wait till Thursday although he has pain medication from the ER doctor but I still want to see what I can do, so I had been calling round from hospitals to clinics to see if I can find someone who is available before Thursday, and I did not see any luck neither hope coming to my way, almost every where is booked up further into Dec. Until I came across Greenwood Animal Hospital, I wanted to give a try. Therefore, I called and ask to make an appointment with a radiologist for ultrasound, the staff answered the phone was nice but she apologized for not having one available at their hospital, so I quickly thanked to her help and said goodbye, because I wanted to keep on calling more people to ask around. Right after I hung up, they called back! I don't know if the staff is the same person or not, but she asked what do I need an ultrasound for, I told her what happened, and she put me on hold. Finally Dr. Zile answered the phone and talked to me, he was very willing to help and being very understanding about my situation, he informed me that they don't have a radiologist in the hospital but they do have a one that they are incorporated with. He told me to give him couple minutes, he will make a call with the radiologist and ask about his/her earliest availability. After about half hour, a lady called me and letting me know when the next availability is. Turn out it will be on Thursday as well, so I told her about the appointment I had made already and I was trying to see if I can have one before Thursday, unfortunately the earliest will be on Thursday, I thanked her for her help and ended the call.nnThe thing I am trying to say is I was extremely frustrated and been denied by so many and many places, I do understand they have their police and how they works their business, but Greenwood Animal Hospital gave me a hope, and it did help, even it did not work out at the end. They even called me back right after I hung up!!! They care about you and your pet, unlike other places, if it's not what they can do, they will just apologize and move on. I am very appreciated what Greenwood Animal Hospital for showing me their sympathy and profession toward animal and their clients/potential clients. I never been to Greenwood Animal Hospital, but I do believe if one day I need help with my cats, they will be able to do their best to help them! Thank you for showing me your caring and positivity and your willingness to help me and my baby cat.nnBeing professional is very important, indeed, but having a kind heart and s sense of sympathy toward other people's situation is also as important as being professional. My first impression of Greenwood Animal Hospital is very positive!nnThan you for your help!

Dr. Zile was very attentive, reassuring, and cost-conscious in helping us with our chocolate lab over the weekend. They did a fantastic job of getting us in same-day for a sick visit and were great at keeping us in the loop with all of our options going forward.

I have trusted greenwood animal hospital to take care of 3 of my dogs. Today I got one of my dogs spayed there and they did it for half the price I was quoted and most other places. They were awesome professional courteous and friendly.

Been coming here for years, always great care for my two dogs. Quick service and reasonable prices. Vets and other staff always really friendly. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have been a pet owner for over 30 years...and experienced all types of Veterinarians....but none as compassionate as Dr. Raj. He just met our four dogs..at a meet and greet in his office...and the dogs had run of the showroom. The staff had fun and so did Dr. Raj. Now after two have had to have surgery....I know my animals are in the best of hands...and what a skilled Vet Dr. Raj. is... His clinic is state of the art!
