I had never been to Black Walnut but I loved this place! The servers were super kind, friendly, and quick. Josh and Liz made my first time to Black Walnut extra special too. The food was delicious too. They even have a gluten free menu too. I will definitely come again! Thank you!!!

We were greeted at the door with the most friendly woman named Dawn, who asked if this was our first time here and when we told her yes, she took the time to explain how ordering worked, gave us menus to look at and suggested we choose a place to sit at to look at the menu further. The food was served quickly and was tasty. Dawn even let us pick out a complementary slice of cake, which was delicious. we will definitely return when we are back in town.

Everything was wonderful...but they downfall was the host at the door...no respect or etiquette of how to service a crowd

Things happen and somehow we got skipped/bypassed on the reservation list. But the Manager Josh was super great. He got us a table quickly and took our orders in the To-go line so we wouldn't have to wait even longer. Food was amazing and well prepared. Will definitely be back! Birthday brunch was still very special

Great little location. Servers and manager were very nice. But...the food...not good. Eggs had shells in it. Steak was not seasoned, not even with salt and pepper. The french toast left a bitter taste and the hot chocolate was not at all sweet or very chocolatey. The manager tried to make it up to us by giving us a slice of tiramisu and all it tasted like was coffee beans. We so much wanted this place to be great but it lacked basic cookery tasting. Wish it could've been better.
