Nice short trail, well maintained. No brush near legs although still better to do a quick tick check at the end. Parking lot had construction going on so had to park on road, but it was nice to have an extra few hundred feet of walking on such a short trail.
Great trail system. Not short like some say. I did over 6 miles and that was maybe half. $5 a car. Lots of restrooms and benches. 1850’s cabin. BUT!! Closes at 7pm w no auto gate. Have to call police to get out
Nice and cozy place to be in during the weekend. Although it is a little bit crowded during the weekend
Great place for a hike! It really makes you feel like you are out of the city. It is not dog friendly but that is to protect the preserve, it's animals, and you dog from it's animals. The staff is always very friendly. Take your lunch, have a picnic, and then hike around nature. You will not regret it!!! Make sure to take the little ones so it is very informational. They will have fun and learn about nature.
Good for a walk. You can see armadillos, birds and butterflies
