My son has been going to Texas Family Fitness for the last year or so mainly because it is a central meeting point for his friends to workout. I heard good things about it from him, so I checked it out. I ended joining in order to continue workouts from the private gym and personal trainer.nnI toured the facility and all the equipment is of excellent quality and it is clean. I have only been able to workout a couple of times thus far, but it is nice and there is plenty of room.nnI gave TFF 4-stars instead of 5 because there are a couple pieces of equipment that I have used at the private gym that they do not have. Every gym is going to be a little different.

the gym is great and the staff are friendly. Everyone working here is ready to help with any questions you might have about working out and Health. There was a little bit of a problem with the first personal trainer that I was assigned to so that didn't work out but Taylor who is very kind and has a lot of knowledge about fitness stepped in to help with my personnel training, I highly recommend her. The gym is clean at most times except for the middle area where I've noticed people pull equipment out and leave it lying around.

UPDATE: I am changing my review from a 1 star to a 3 star. It is definitely a work in progress that the new GM is working on. He has taken some big steps and that is great to see. As I see improvements I will adjust my review accordingly. Childcare was a terrible experience and left my toddler unsure of nursery for several weeks. However, since the new GM handled things it is 1000% better! Front desk hospitality could still use a little more training, but when my child is safe and happy I can pass over other small issues;)

Texas Family Fitness facilities are a professional oriented fitness club with healthy & user friendly (covid protocols) in place. I like that the club's are kept super clean with up to date equipment. The monthly fees are super budget friendly compared to other fitness facilities that I've canceled.

Forces you to cancel in person or by certified mail. Pretty much the last company in the country that requires this. Not only that but you will have to pay $30 cancellation fee. Just don’t sign here. They also pay for these reviews (was told by employee) so most of what you’re reading here is a lie. Equipment is not new, only two squat racks that are always taken. No ropes, machines always broken and staff is always late to open. If you have had the same issue as me, follow my steps and write a complaint to the Texas Attorney General Office as well as the BBB.
