I'm sure your team won't remember me with all the people you've helped over the years. I wanted to say thank you so much and god bless you. A few years ago your team responded to my frantic phone calls about my son having a seizure while driving down highway 75. He started turning blue and your dispatcher was amazingly able to keep my wife and I calm until help arrived. It was so fast that yall responded it made the situation just a little bit better. To see my son in my arms, not breathing is incredibly scary. I realize it's a bit odd to hear from me after so long, honestly I saw a video of something similar on YouTube. And felt you deserved a thank you from me. I am incredibly grateful your team responded so fast. I fear if you had not, my son may not be here today. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your incredible selfless service. Thank you again and god bless you.
I wanted to write a review on how amazed I was recently at the response from the Melissa fire department. There was an accident recently on hwy 75. That my family and I stopped to assist with. Within 5 minutes of the accident occurring Melissa's response team was there and ready. I had never seen such a quick response and even under the circumstances everyone was very friendly and helpful. They knew just how to help. So thankful for their hard work and assistance. No matter how bad the media tries to define your line of work. It will never matter. You're all of our daily hero's in different ways. You all deserve more credit then what's given.
Got stuck on the side of the road at 3:30 am after a long day of work. Rather than helping they treated me like a drunk and called the police- who also left without helping.
