This park is closed. Has been for almost a year. I drove over because people keep giving this a rating instead of Zeddler Mill. Two diffdrent places on different sides of the river.nWhy is this park closed? For constuction of Zeddler Mill, which is on tbe other side of the river. Yet the park on the side of the river with construction is open.
Great place to bring family and remanence on how hard life used to be. There are some old building and old farming and mill equipment that has been preserved and well kept. There is also a event building that was recently constructed as well as a extended sidewalk along the banks of the San Marcos river for view..
The water is beautiful. We went on a cool 50 degree day but it was sunny and a nice spot to enjoy nature and the sounds of the water.
Fun and serene place to visit. Heads up, currently under construction at the museum and the event center for zedler mills.
Love this place! Best swim hole for miles!
