Came out and did a great job. He was here directly at the time he said he was going to be here. Decent prices. But you're going to get what you pay for. I got great service and I watched he did a great job! This was a great job by a great company!

We have used Steamatic of the Brazos Valley for many years for both our home and business. We are 100 percent happy with all of the services we have received. We have used their air duct cleaning and carpet cleaning, especially in a highly trafficked business. We have also had the opportunity to witness the pleasure of our policyholders with their services. They were often their “knight in shining armor” during difficult situations. They are prompt, professional, efficient and well trained. I would hire them for any of the many services they offer with great confidence.

NEVER use them to clean your ducts or remediate mold. My husband and I are extremely disappointed with both the quality of the work done by Steamatic and with the integrity of the company itself. We hired them to clean the ducts in our home. Mold was discovered in the plenums and on the register covers in the process. They treated the mold and vacuumed the ducts and left. We had an independent third party AC company coming the next day to seal things back up for us. They found that Steamtic had never even opened the subplenum and it had mold as well. The AC company also removed the flex duct where it joins the plenums and found it covered in mold. Steamtic had never removed that end of the ducts, inspected it, or cleaned it as they said. We took pictures and sent it to Steamatic. Kevin Slaten talked to my husband and said they would send someone back out to take care of it. My husband met the two gentlemen back at the house and asked for an explanation of what their cleaning process is and why they never looked at the other end of the ducts. They said they just didn't think about it because they had vacuumed from the opposite end and assumed it took care of it. When my husband asked how long the vacuum hose was and if it could possibly reach all the way from one end of the flex duct to the other, they said no. He asked why they didn't open or inspect the subplenum. They had no answer. My husband then told them to go back and assess the situation and call him to let him know what needed to be done and not to do any work until he had okayed it, as he had to leave for a meeting. They called him later to tell him that they were finished with the work after he specifically said they were not to do anything without him okaying it first. When asked why they did the work without calling him first, they had no answer. My husband tried to get ahold of Kevin multiple times regarding the second trip and his crew doing work without getting it okayed first and Kevin never returned his calls. I finally called the office myself aand asked to speak with Kevin and Danita Slaten who answered, apologized and said she was sorry he hadn't returned the phone calls but that he had been super busy and swamped. She would get ahold of him on his cell phone and have him call me back shortly. Kevin called finally and told me that he didn't know why they did the work without checking withy husband first. Assured me multiple times that mold only occurs in the first 2-3 feet of the flex ducts usually and that I shouldn't be concerned that it was in the entire length of the ducts. He explained that the two gentlemen who came did not vacuum from that end of the ducts, they just wiped it with a rag sprayed with their mold killing product and that should sufficiently take care of the problem. Because I was not convinced, I specifically asked if he thought the flex duct needed to be replaced. He said no not at all. And again reiterated that mold is usually only seen in the first 2-3 feet of the flex duct. The next day we had the same independent third party AC company come out look at things and to seal everything back up. They took pictures and came down from the attic to ask me what exactly had been done to treat it, as it was still covered in visible mold. When my husband sent those pictures via email to Kevin and Danita, Kevin apologized, took an amount off the final bill, and then lied and said that he had told me in our phone conversation the only way to really clean the flex duct was to replace it. This company lacks quality work and integrity and I will tell everyone I know to never use them. If you do decide to use them even after this, then you better hire an independent third party to come out and check their work.

I've used Steamatic of Brazos Valley for over 15 years now and have always been happy with their service. They can handle carpet stretching, patching, cleaning ... anything I need. I love their attention to detail. If I'm ever not 100% satisfied, they make it right.

They did a really good job. I liked that they cleaned up behind them as they move along with their work.
