Ballard High School

I used to go here, but I transferred to Ingraham. And now my brother goes here. And from what I've heard from him about what Ballard is like now, it hasn't gotten much better than it was when I went here. But at least some of the teachers are good, like Mr. Thompson.

The teachers that try are great, and I loved them. The teachers that don't try gave up their will for tenure years ago.nnMr. Wynkoop is a sad excuse of a man who gets a power trip from having authority over children in an institution he never got to leave in a physical, emotional, nor mental sense.

BEST SCHOOL I'VE EVER SEEN. IT SUCKS AND IS TOO WHITE, we need more colors at this school.

My experience has not been a pleasant one. I know way too many students that do drugs on and off campus and ones who get into fights, on and off campus as well. Some of the teachers (Ms. Nev, McKenna, Mr. V, Feise, Hunter, Rowley to name some) Are good teachers. They try and care. Others in the past and current are.. Sub-par. They either fail, don't try, or the favoritism is obvious. Very little is done about any bullying as well. I would know from experience. The therapist can be booked for WEEKS at a time, making it impossible to get an appointment, and I don't know my counselor well enough to trust her. Overall, I don't like this school very much. It isn't the worst though. Better than Garfield or Roosevelt.
