I read about this bakery in Danbury. Had to go to Angleton, so I thought I'd check it out. Glad I did!! Having a Czech Grandma, I know what a homemade kolache tastes like. These were very, very close. The smell alone when I walked in brought back some good memories. The woman behind the counter was so nice! Very friendly and gave me some history about the bakery. She warned me that she only had a few left, so I grabbed eight assorted kolaches for home and ate a ham & cheese kolache and a cream cheese one while I was there. There is a city park right across the street to sit and enjoy them. Czech this bakery out! ud83dude09 It's worth the stop.
Best kolache's anywhere. Need to try them always will be back for more.
Good kolaches, the cream cheese one was the best I've ever tasted. The sausage kolaches have a tasty sausage, I just wish they put the whole link and not 1/2 in there.
Good place for authentic Kolaches like my grandmother made.
Bacon egg and cheese was a great breakfast treat on the way to surfside! There were lots of trucks stopping to pick up their supply as well. Very reasonable prices too.
