Hanzo is such a hidden gem. Literally! It’s tucked away in the center of a very unassuming building complex. They have one of my personal favorite patios. It’s enclosed by the surrounding businesses making it feel intimate, exclusive, a secret place of your own.nnThey have an absolutely stellar happy hour (and reverse happy hour), excellent kitchen fare (try the gyoza!) and an impressive selection of house infused spirits that you can enjoy as a shot or in one of their cocktails.nnIf you haven’t been, definitely treat yourself!

Huge bar and patio, love the decor. The tile work is beautiful, gives the place a modern Japanese ambiance, which goes well with the old film poster wallpaper and amine on the big screens. We sat inside at the bar, ordered beer and a tofu appetizer. The bartender was great with her recommendations. Went with the poke and nagiri board that's purely chefs choice. GOOD choice. Ended or meal with a Jiggly Puff and Gin and Roses cocktail and it was a PERFECT ending. Well definable be revisiting.

Great atmosphere. Trendy spot. Need more stuff on the menu. Attentive waiters. Good date night spot. Dog friendly. Excellent drinks I haven't seen offered elsewhere.

Great happy hour... recommend the southside cocktail if you like lime. Great wings and simple fresh sushi. Cool atmosphere and music to chill to on a Sunday afternoon! Will definitely be back, as this is a hidden gem!

This is a Japanese style bar with unique fusion drinks and food. It is on Broadway/Nottingham Dr., not far from San Antonio airport. Every wall has its own colors and themes. You won’t see basketball game on TV, instead you will watch Japanese animation movies! ud83dude2fnFor Cocktail, I recommend Hashira Martini.nJuggly Puff, and Hanzo Daiquiri. All these have unique fruit flavors that we are not familiar with. But I promise they taste great! Food wise you have to order Spicy Pork Egg roll! The egg rolls are so popular, they do get sold out from time to time a few hours before the bar is closed.
