NHC-Maury Regional Transitional Care Center

My brother is in this place and he doesn't get his medications when he is suppose to. Tonight his 8pm meds still has not been given to him and it is now 11:30 pm. I have tried to call to ask what is going on and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. I even called the main hospital and they could not get them to answer. The charge nurse tried to call over there and she couldn't get them to answer. I am giving them five more minutes and I will call the police to do a wellness check.

I was here for 6 weeks after I had a real bad multiple sclerosis attack and everyone treated me great. The physical therapy was GREAT! I would go back if I ever had to.

My father was here twice during his battle with Parkinson's. The first time was a 9 week stay for therapy after a hospital stay. The entire staff from the person cleaning the room to the doctors and nurses were great. The CNAs which did most of the work were so good with Dad and I will never forget them. The therapist could do wonders with him also. Not a staff member left our room without asking us if we needed anything or if they could do anything for us.nOur second time was for end of life care and it was nice to see so many familiar faces in such hard times. Staff that was never assigned to him but had just met him in the halls his first visit were coming to see him. My dad spoke to everyone he met so he had spoken to most of them several times. Now to me this is caring about the person and just not a job. The staff went above and beyond for us the six days we were there. My mom along with myself stayed there for the entire six days and they made sure we had everything we needed from drinks, fresh coffee, snacks and food. They made sure we were comfortable in our time of need. Great care was taken to make sure my dad's passing was as easy as possible. When he passed there was not a dry eye from any staff that had ever been associated with Dad. That tells me again it's just not a job for them. Several have also contacted us in the weeks since just to see how we are doing. I would like to thank everyone there for everything they did.

Very poor, not impressed!! Dr. Couch isn't or hasn't been a good doctor yet. Trying to rehabilitate without making issue better! Have heard nothing but complaints about the food my family member is being served. Not to mention my family member for some reason acts as if she is scared of someone there but won't tell me who.

I have been a patient here for 2 weeks now. Everything about this place is excellent . If i could give it 10 stars I would! The staff is wonderful and caring,the food is extremely good and well prepared. Well thats my review. I hope it sheds some light on this wonderful place.
