I am taking lessons from one of the pros - Jon Allen. Within a few minutes he is able to analyze my game and show me what I'm doing wrong. I especially like that he focuses on tips that will help me lower my score when I'm on the course with my friends rather than trying to get me to hit the longest ball or have a technically perfect swing. John works around my schedule and has been a great coach. The Furman course is in very good condition and offers a challenge to golfers of every skill level.

Nice course. Fast and unforgiving greens. Reasonably priced. It also has some nice woods. I was able to explore them after every drive, sometimes a couple of times after my drive as well.

Furman is a good layout but each time that I play there I feel like I have overpaid. We play a number of really nice courses for less .

It was ok besides the golfing police rushing us.We had a group of 4 and finished under 4 hrs so we didn't know what his deal was!!
