Once the terraces of Yesler way, all were removed and is being changed with new buildings and a park. I know the old buildings are missed by many but they really were badly eroded by time. These new apartments and a park will spread joy and beautify the areas. I'm not good at removing nice homes but if they outlived usefulness it's best for community. Nice old homes should be restored. The poor should get loans or grants to have some help in restoration. Not liens or reverse mortgages by heartless realtors now tricking owners mostly targetting elderly. Sorry, I felt this message is necessary. I live in an old home mom and l bought long ago so know this. Nice apartments but not my style. Great if one is gregarious.
