I have lived in Anderson for over 40 years. why does the service keep getting worse. I tried to take my household to the site at slabtown today(tuesday). to my surprise the site was closed. Why? I tried to call the number on the sign and got no answer. I tried to call county council, the operator and the backup operator where unavailable! Since I have to drive 9 miles to dispose of my trash, it is very inconvient(to say the least) to make additional trips. The people in the north east part pay as much taxes as the rest and deserve better treatment.
