Dr. Koons is a very caring physician. I do have issues making appointments so I had to give her a 4/5. My dad has no problem being seen the same day he calls and he goes to a different Internist in the same building. Overall though I am pleased with her bed side manner, when she enters your patient room she tunes out everything else and focuses on you, she is fast to call in refills, and she is capable of taking care of your whole family. I've been her patient since 2007 and she has seen me through some serious health problems. I highly recommend her.

My son is very sick, I am trying to find a doctor I can take him to, that can see him right away, and they said that they are backed up too, that it takes weeks to be seen.nnWhat is going on with doctors that they cannot work in sick children?nI told the person that my son is sick, and they did not say they could work him in, but that it takes weeks. So I will find another.
