Very friendly employees, very friendly drivers great tour of the area very knowledgeable. Great weekend trip for me and my husband. Worth the price to do this tour! It’s priced per car not per person.
This was the coolest tour. Its cash or personal check ONLY- no credit cards! Before we started the young lady who takes your reservation and money, took our pictures in the squad car and beside the squad car with my phone. Then Don, who has lived in the town all his life, gave us a tour in the squad car. He was so animated, had us laughing and just told us all kinds of neat facts about the Andy Griffith show, the town of Mt. Airy and the cast. We loved it and would recommend everyone take the tour, its a MUST if you visit Mt. Airy, NC If you get to Mt. Airy early in the day and want to do a late afternoon ride, I suggest that you at least go sign up before you venture in any of the shops, the reason is, it was just a basic Saturday for us and they were steady busy with rides!! So get your name on the list FIRST and then go visit the rest of the town and museums! You won't be disappointed!!!

We had the best guide!! Local to Mt. Airy we learned so much more than just about the Andy Griffith show. Would recommend and would probably do it again with other family members!
