Parking for sand or for the Ocracoke wild ponies. Super spot for a vacation stop .... A few minutes or all day. Be sure to bring everything you want to have for your visit. No concessions. Only amenity is a pair of portapotties

Watched the ponies and the beautiful barn from the platform. But the best part was to cross the road and walked to the beach where we found some of our best seashells on our whole trip.
