Haywood County Visitor Center

The people who work and/or volunteer here are amazing. They really know the area well and are super friendly. They have many easy to read maps for activities and hiking in the area. They also have some fun trinkets for sale.

The two ladies that were in here when my kids and I stop by are fabulous. They have the best attitudes willing to help. Definitely point us in some good directions. If you're not from here you got to stop in this place grab as many flyers and get all the information you can. You won't regret it

If you are not from the area you should definitely stop in here. The staff is very knowledgeable on everything in the area to do or see. Lots of brochures and maps here for places to see. Plenty of information on area waterfalls and places to go to view elk. If you are looking to try fishing I believe they even have fishing equipment to rent and can tell you the best spots to try. They can surely point you towards the hidden gems in the valley.
