Our train lay over to seattle station and had to wait for 4 hours to take another train to Leavenworth. So we decided to check in our luggages for $20. Come to find out when we get to our destination, someone stole my prescription pain pills. I am guessing i have luke 7pcs left in it and they took all of them. I was very mad. Not a very trustworthy place. They make you pay to keep your personal item and steal them. What a shame!
For my first ever trip to Canada, I opted for Amtrak bus service from Seattle to Vancouver and Train service while coming back.nnKing street is a historic station built long ago. It's old built is very well maintained from both outside and inside. Interior is well decorated and well maintained. It takes around two hours by bus to reach Canadian border.
Great place. I love trains. I grew up on real trains and model railroads. I have been an enthusiast for years. I love the station.

Like all of the main terminal Amtrak Stations...really awesome old school architecture. Quiet, clean, relaxing way to travel from Seattle to Portland or many other destinations! Try the family sleeper car to Los Angeles or Chicago! Totally awesome, fun trip with beautiful rail line scenery.
